Description
The Graduate Trainee will assist in software test automation and quality engineering activities, contributing to the development of reliable and efficient test systems. The role requires strong foundational technical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and collaborate within fast‑paced engineering teams.
Responsibilities & Duties
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Python, Pytest, and/or Robot Framework.
Build and improve automation utilities, libraries, and test fixtures.
Debug and analyze test failures by reviewing logs, traces, dashboards, and structured reports.
Investigate and resolve technical issues across software components.
Contribute to documentation updates and process improvements.
Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and follow established engineering practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in computer science/ information technology/ Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications
Graduation year: 2025 and 2026
Required Skills
Proficiency in Python programming.
Basic understanding of automation concepts, including Pytest or Robot Framework.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
Desired Skills
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, operating systems, and databases.
Working knowledge of Docker, Linux, and shell scripting.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Python).
Tools & Technologies
Experience with Git (or any other Version Control) and one CI/CD tool
Familiarity with IDEs such as VS Code.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
