Job Responsibilities

As an HVAC Technician, you will perform diagnostics, maintenance, repair, and replacement services on residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including:

• HVAC system diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Air conditioning repair and maintenance
• Heating system diagnostics and repair
• Preventive maintenance services
• Refrigerant leak detection
• Refrigerant recovery and system charging
• Capacitor replacement
• Contactor replacement
• Blower motor replacement
• Condenser fan motor replacement
• Compressor diagnostics
• Thermostat installation and replacement
• Electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC equipment
• Airflow testing and system performance evaluation
• Filter replacement
• Indoor and outdoor unit inspections
• Minor HVAC repairs
• Recommend repairs and replacement options when necessary

Additional Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with residents and property managers
• Accurately diagnose HVAC system failures
• Take clear before-and-after job-site photos
• Submit digital work orders, diagnostic reports, and estimates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Represent Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. professionally on every service call

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing residential HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius of Jacksonville, FL
• Own professional HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment
• Smartphone with internet access
• Ability to take and upload job-site photos
• Ability to complete digital work orders
• General liability insurance (or willingness to obtain it)

Preferred Qualifications

The following certifications are preferred but not required:

• EPA Section 608 Certification
• HVAC Certification
• NATE Certification
• Universal Refrigerant Certification
• Journeyman HVAC License (if applicable)
