Description
Finance & Order Fulfillment Ops Lead
We are looking for a Finance & Order Fulfillment Ops Lead to join Business Technology Services at Stora Enso starting as soon as possible.
This is first and foremost a leadership role. We are looking for a strong leader who sets clear direction, takes full ownership of their area and builds a motivated, high-performing team.
You will lead a team of SAP specialists supporting Finance and Order Fulfillment, so solid knowledge of both areas is essential. What will make you successful, however, is your ability to lead people, make decisions and drive change.
You will be located in Ostrava, Czechia and report to Head of Enterprise Application Services.
Your responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team of SAP Finance and Order Fulfillment specialists - set clear direction and priorities, give regular feedback, and build the capabilities the team will need in the future.
Take full ownership of your area: make decisions, resolve escalations, and hold both your team and our partners accountable for the results.
Build a team culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning, and act as a visible role model for our values and ways of working.
Own the operational performance and stability of the Finance and Order Fulfillment application landscape (SAP ECC FI/CO, SD and related solutions), including incident, problem and change management together with our AMS partners.
Act as the key partner for Finance, Sales and Supply Chain stakeholders, translating business needs into a prioritised application roadmap and delivering the agreed improvements.
Drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across Record-to-Report and Order-to-Cash processes, reducing manual effort and strengthening data quality.
Lead the relationship with external vendors and AMS providers - service levels, quality of deliverables and cost efficiency - and challenge proposed solutions to secure the best value for the business.
Contribute to SAP and Finance transformation initiatives, representing Finance & Order Fulfillment in solution design, testing and deployment activities.
Ensure that solutions and ways of working comply with corporate governance, internal controls and IT security requirements.
What will you bring
Proven track record as a people leader - several years of experience leading a team, setting direction, developing individuals and delivering results through others.
Natural authority and the courage to make decisions, address performance openly and drive change even when it is uncomfortable.
Solid understanding of corporate Finance processes - General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, financial closing and reporting.
Strong functional knowledge of SAP ECC, in particular FI/CO; experience with SD and the Order-to-Cash process is a clear advantage.
Experience in application operations and service management, including cooperation with external implementation partners and AMS providers.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical, standardised and maintainable solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and the confidence to influence without formal authority.
Fluent English, together with a structured, hands-on and results-driven way of working.
We offer
You will be part of our diverse working culture which supports you in exploring new perspectives and developing professionally. You will contribute to a more sustainable world, as sustainability and innovation are at the core of our strategy. To keep you going safely, we support your physical and mental well-being.
