Job Description:

The Manager, Experience, will ensure that the Regional GS (Global Services) Procurement Experience organisation delivers results in support of the Global Services, OneProcurement and Johnson & Johnson business strategy and objectives. The role works directly with the business, GS Procurement, and the broader procurement function to ensure a seamless experience for the requestor/business partner when engaging with the procurement process.

The Manager, Experience, oversees and drives activities relating to the implementation of the organization's strategic plans to transform the internal and external partner experience across multiple areas including training and helpdesk.  This role works to identify and address needs of internal and external stakeholders and develops strategies that mitigate risk, improve the overall experience and remains abreast on current market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
  • Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines. Delivers against defined Service Levels.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization's overall performance, utilizing market intelligence, risk assessments, and best practices.
  • Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Creates Value by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key business partners and peers with a view to pro-actively understand and constructively influence their needs and expectations.
  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.
  • An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 6-8 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience
  • Collaboration, Communication & Influencing Skills: Should be regarded as a constructive player representing procurement in various teams within the company and outside. Should have the requisite communication skills to communicate & influence objectives and then develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally to achieve them.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral) is required.
  • Learning Agility & Openness to Change

Preferred:

  • Good understanding of Sourcing and Contracting processes and Source-to-settle operations at a high level is preferred.
  • Experience in one or more Procurement Functional domains: Sourcing, Category management, R2P or Accounts Payable
  • Shared Services Industry experience is preferred.
