QA/QC Engineer (Data Centres)

Location: Vienna, Austria (Base) with project assignments in Germany (Mainz/Berlin)

About the Role

 

Leap29 is recruiting on behalf of a leading international engineering contractor for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data centre projects across Germany.

 

Working within the project quality team, you will play a key role in ensuring construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities are delivered in accordance with project specifications, client requirements and the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with project quality standards across site.
• Carry out inspections across piping, HVAC, plant and mechanical installations.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and client acceptance activities.
• Develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Manage NCRs and support corrective actions.
• Participate in pressure testing and commissioning activities.
• Work closely with project management, site teams and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery.

 

Requirements

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in QA/QC on large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Previous Data Centre or Mission Critical experience.
• Strong understanding of quality procedures, inspections and technical documentation.
• Experience producing inspection reports and quality records.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Very good German and good English language skills.
