About the Role
At Team Global Express, we're transforming the way freight and parcels move across Australia and New Zealand.
As a Senior Productivity Engineering Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our network by identifying smarter ways of working, improving efficiency, leveraging data and technology, and delivering meaningful operational outcomes.
What You'll Do
Analyse operational performance across transport, warehouse, linehaul and delivery networks to identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Conduct time and motion studies, process mapping and workflow redesign to eliminate inefficiencies.
Design and optimise delivery routes, service areas and network operating models to improve productivity and customer outcomes.
Build data-driven insights, dashboards and performance models using tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL and Python.
Develop labour models, productivity standards and operational benchmarks that support consistent decision-making across the network.
Support fleet utilisation, depot optimisation, capacity planning and peak readiness programs.
Evaluate automation and technology opportunities that improve efficiency and scalability.
Partner with operational teams to implement solutions, track benefits and ensure sustainable results.
Influence and coach leaders in data-driven decision making and continuous improvement practices.
What You'll Bring
A degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or a related discipline.
Experience in productivity engineering, operational excellence, continuous improvement or a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into practical business solutions.
Expertise in Power BI, Excel and data analysis, with exposure to SQL, Python or other analytical tools highly regarded.
Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks.
Experience within logistics, transport, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing or similarly complex operational environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels of the organisation.
