The University of Louisville is seeking to hire a Temporary Admissions Counselor. This position will visit high schools, participate in college fairs, and work with prospective students and families; review and evaluate undergraduate applications for admissions; participate in outreach programs designed to expand the base of students interested in UofL; and plan outreach programs for prospective students throughout assigned regions/territories. Travel to and from different areas in Indiana will be required. This position also participates in outreach and evaluation of the scholarship programs run through the Office of Admissions. Applicants should have strong interpersonal and written communication skills, presentation and public speaking skills are essential, basic technology capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks. It is crucial to be able to work in a fast paced, team environment, with some evening and weekend work responsibilities throughout the year. Overnight stays and travel in different parts of Indiana are required.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
