As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor incoming information, and help direct appropriate responses. You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain clear documentation, and support a welcoming environment while helping to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, communications systems, and/or dispatch channels; document requests and route information to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant details to on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, access-related records, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
• Support regular and random patrol activities by dispatching personnel, tracking check-ins, and reporting observed concerns around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
