Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Radiographer (General Radiography & CT) to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The successful candidate will perform a range of radiographic examinations, maintain imaging equipment, and work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform General Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) examinations in accordance with clinical protocols and departmental standards.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection at all times.
- Verify patient identity, examination requests, and imaging areas prior to each procedure.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately, providing clear instructions and compassionate care throughout the examination.
- Operate radiographic and CT equipment safely and efficiently to achieve optimal image quality.
- Review images to ensure diagnostic quality before patient discharge.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Ensure radiology equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for daily operations.
- Comply with hospital policies, radiation safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department or management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related discipline.
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
- Registered as a Radiation Worker with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
- Experience performing General Radiography and CT examinations independently.
- Prior experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and imaging protocols.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Willing to work on rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays, where required.
