Position Summary

About Finance Shared Services (FSS)

ITT FSS provides services to many of ITT’s businesses located around the globe, including the following services: Procure to Pay (PtP), Travel and Expense (T&E), Order to Cash (OtC) and Financial Accounting and Reporting (FA&R). 

ITT FSS currently has in-house centers in US, UK, China and India, and also works with an outsource partner, Genpact, in India, China and Romania.  The India in-house FSS team is currently quite a small team, but significant expansion is expected as more of ITTs sites from around the globe transition work into FSS.  Overall, there are > 150 FTE currently working in FSS.

 

Position Summary

The Credit Analyst, Order to Cash, will be responsible for supporting effective credit risk management, customer account review, cash collection, dispute resolution and reporting activities across ITT’s Finance Shared Services organisation. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers and business teams to help manage trade credit risk, protect cash flow, reduce overdue debt, improve working capital performance and ensure consistent application of credit and collections policies.

Essential Responsibilities

Principal duties and responsibilities

• Assess customer credit risk by reviewing financial information, payment history, credit reports and internal account data, making recommendations on credit limits and terms in line with company policy.
• Partner with business stakeholders to support order release decisions, customer account reviews, process improvements and adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Create & maintain accurate customer master and credit data, ensuring documentation, approvals and audit evidence are complete and retained in accordance with policy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Finance Shared Services, identifying opportunities to standardize processes, improve automation and enhance service delivery.
• Ensure standard operating procedures relating to Credit Analyst activities are accurate, up to date and in line with IA requirements and SOX controls.
• Support OtC and FSS colleagues with other ad-hoc activities, as required.

 

Position Requirements

Skills, experience & education

Required

• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Able to be flexible with working hours, to ensure critical activities are completed on schedule
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
• Good understanding of OtC processes in a FSS or multinational environment
• Able to analyse financial data, identify credit risk and provide evidence based recommendations
• Confident in dealing with stakeholders from around the globe, including Senior Management
• Customer focused, with a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement

 

Preferable

• Experience of SAP or other ERP systems
• Experience of management information systems, including report writing
• Experience of collections platforms or credit management tools
• Microsoft Excel at advanced level, including writing macros and other automations
• 2+ years’ experience in AR Credit role
• Additional European language (other than English)
