Title and Summary
Director, Business Development - MC Move products and solutionsSummary of the RoleBusiness Development position in Kazakhstan covering CIS cluster (Central Asia, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia). The Business Development Director is responsible for selling, developing, implementing and enhancing the Mastercard Move strategy in these key markets across MC Move products and solutions.
Key Accountabilities
• Coordinating development and execution of Business development and product strategy in the overlooked markets;
• Develop sales pipeline leveraging all available resources in coordination with the product development and account management teams
• Responsible for sales/implementation of MasterCard Move products to above markets as well as project management of strategic initiatives and cross functional team collaboration (country account management, marketing, services, other product teams, etc)
• Interacting with strategically important banks and non-traditional partners to sell products and support implementation
• Working with vendors/suppliers to support product sales
• Owing budget for selected strategic projects
• On-going monitoring of the market situation and identification of new opportunities and delivery on those opportunities
• Identification of key partners to help grow our business in the above areas either by partnership, acquisition or investment
• Identifying x-functional opportunities, performing assessment of feasibility and business rationale
• Representing MasterCard at internal and external forums/conferences
Qualifications and Experience
• Significant experience in the financial services, payments business or consulting
• Strong business development and B2B sales experience
• Management (business and projects), problem solving, analytical and organizational experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment across multiple geographic locations
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, extensive experience in communicating in international environment at senior management level
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills – with ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization from senior level executives to individual contributors
• Organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task
• Business judgment and strategic planning skills
• Strong self-starter and motivator
• Business Case development, including financial analytics
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Solid solution development skills and effective working both independently and in a team environment
• High Level of enthusiasm for new product innovation
• The ability to evangelize the digital payments opportunity to colleagues and customers
