MasTec Power Delivery is seeking a driven and resourceful Lead Recruiter to support our growing Major Projects Team. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting to attract, engage, and hire top talent in alignment with organizational needs. You will partner with hiring managers and leadership to develop recruiting strategies, build candidate pipelines, and deliver a positive candidate experience while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
The ideal candidate has experience sourcing talent within the electric utility, transmission, substation, renewable energy, or heavy civil construction industries and is passionate about connecting skilled professionals with impactful career opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Strategic alignment with executives on processes, reporting, and new initiatives.
- Driving and adhering to KPIs.
- Having a continuous improvement mindset and executing solutions.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, daily utilization with ATS (iCIMS), offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with universities, professional organizations, and industry networks.
- Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and employer branding initiatives.
- Provide guidance to hiring-managers on market trends, talent availability, and recruiting best practices.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and diversity hiring initiatives.
- Build relationships with external vendors and recruiting partners as needed.
- Support onboarding processes and collaborate with HR teams to ensure smooth transitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Experience:
- 5+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience (agency or in-house).
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing techniques.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
