Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Medical Facility Driver in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position combines professional communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and the reporting of suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
