Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Wealth Distribution Intelligence & AI Partner – RIA Field & Platforms to join the Distribution Intelligence team within Wealth Intelligence & Analytics. This senior individual contributor will serve as the primary intelligence and analytics partner to RIA Field and Platform leadership.

The role combines deep knowledge of the RIA market with advanced analytics, AI, and strategic problem-solving to identify growth opportunities, prioritize firms and advisors, assess market potential, improve sales execution, and inform senior-level decision-making.

The successful candidate will be both a strategic advisor and hands-on practitioner, translating complex data into clear actions while developing scalable, AI-enabled approaches that modernize how intelligence is delivered across Wealth Management.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

Strategic Business & Market Intelligence

  • Serve as a strategic analytics partner to RIA Field and Platform leadership, translating business priorities into measurable objectives, insights, and recommendations.

  • Apply a strong understanding of the RIA ecosystem to identify market trends, growth opportunities, competitive dynamics, and implications for coverage and sales strategy.

  • Support business planning, territory design, resource allocation, performance reviews, and other strategic decisions with forward-looking analysis.

Client & Opportunity Intelligence

  • Develop a comprehensive view of firms, advisors, buying units, platforms, and centers of influence using internal and external data.

  • Build segmentation, opportunity-scoring, and prioritization frameworks based on market potential, client behavior, engagement, product adoption, competitive position, and wallet opportunity.

  • Analyze sales, assets, flows, pipeline, retention, market share, and other performance indicators to identify drivers, risks, and areas of under penetration.

AI-Enabled Sales Execution

  • Apply generative AI, predictive analytics, automation, and advanced analytical techniques to opportunity identification, targeting, client preparation, sales planning, and next-best-action recommendations.

  • Partner with Field Sales, Platforms, National Accounts, Marketing, Product, and Sales Enablement to translate intelligence into coordinated client and territory actions.

  • Rapidly test new analytical approaches, measure their commercial impact, and convert successful use cases into repeatable and scalable capabilities.

  • Communicate insights through clear, concise data storytelling tailored to executives, sales leaders, and field teams.

Data & Capability Development

  • Partner with Technology, Data Science, CRM, and Distribution Intelligence teams to develop scalable data, analytical, and AI capabilities.

  • Connect insights across CRM, sales, assets, flows, products, marketing engagement, market intelligence, and third-party data.

  • Identify gaps in data quality, accessibility, reporting, and analytics and help establish standards and solutions that strengthen the broader Wealth Intelligence & Analytics function.

What qualifications, skills, and experience would help someone be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree in analytics, data science, business, finance, economics, or a related field preferred.

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in distribution intelligence, analytics, sales strategy, client analytics, data science, or financial services.

  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. RIA market, including its major business models, platforms, participants, and distribution dynamics.

  • Experience supporting asset management distribution, RIA sales, platform relationships, or wealth management organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI, automation, predictive analytics, segmentation, opportunity scoring, or similar analytical techniques to business challenges.

  • Strong command of sales, AUM, flows, pipeline, product adoption, client activity, market share, and wealth management data.

  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, generative AI tools, workflow automation, or similar technologies.

  • Ability to work directly with data while translating complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.

  • Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, communication, data storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills.

  • Practical, outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to move complex cross-functional work forward without direct authority.

Work Schedule and Location

  • This is a hybrid role that can be based out of Stamford (CT), New York City, or Boston (MA) whereby the employee will work out of the office 4 days per week.
