Title and Summary
Manager, Mid-Market Strategy & Product Management, LACOverviewAs Manager, Mid-Market Strategy & Solutions, LAC, you will lead the development and execution of Mastercard's Mid-Market strategy across Latin America and the Caribbean, helping define how Mastercard serves and grows this emerging segment.
This role will be responsible for developing the segment narrative, identifying growth opportunities, shaping value propositions, advancing strategic partnerships, and supporting the commercialization of products and solutions tailored to Mid-Market customers.
Working closely with Product, Partnerships, Commercialization, Account Management, and market teams, the successful candidate will help translate customer needs into scalable solutions, coordinate pilot initiatives, enable market adoption, and drive execution across multiple markets.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, knowledge of the Mid-Market/Corporate ecosystem, product thinking, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Role & Key Responsibilities Description
1. Mid-Market Strategy & Segment Development
• Lead the development and execution of Mastercard's Mid-Market strategy across LAC.
• Define customer archetypes, segment priorities, value propositions, and growth opportunities.
• Build the narrative, messaging, and strategic framework that supports market expansion and customer adoption.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
2. Solutions Development & Commercialization
• Support the development, piloting, and commercialization of products, services, and proprietary solutions designed for Mid-Market customers.
• Partner with Global Product teams to evaluate, adapt, and launch new capabilities across the region.
• Collaborate with Partnerships teams to identify and assess third-party solutions that strengthen Mastercard's Mid-Market offering.
• Help define customer value propositions and go-to-market approaches for new initiatives.
3. Opportunity Pipeline & Market Enablement
• Maintain visibility of strategic opportunities, pilots, and commercialization efforts across the region.
• Partner with market teams and Account Managers to identify, prioritize, and advance growth opportunities.
• Support customer engagements through executive presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and solution positioning.
• Develop sales enablement materials, playbooks, and market readiness content.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Program Governance
• Coordinate initiatives across Product, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and market teams.
• Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, ensuring progress against strategic priorities.
• Develop business cases, executive updates, implementation plans, and performance reporting.
• Act as the regional subject matter expert for the Mid-Market segment.
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Experience working with Mid-Market, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, B2B Financial Services, Payments, Treasury, Cash Management, ERP, CRM, Procurement, Accounts Payable/Receivable, or related solution ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of the needs, challenges, and operating models of Mid-Market and growing businesses.
• Experience developing segment strategies, value propositions, go-to-market plans, or customer growth initiatives.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Partnerships, Commercial, and Market teams.
• Ability to identify market opportunities and translate customer needs into scalable products, services, or solution strategies.
• Experience supporting product launches, piloting new initiatives, and driving commercialization efforts.
• Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Ability to build business cases, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, ERP, business software, treasury, cash management, or B2B technology companies is highly desirable.
• Product management experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required. Portuguese strongly preferred.
• Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.
