Description
Overview
Produce Certified Reference Materials with strict adherence to ISO 17034, ISO 9001 and alignment to applicable clauses of ISO 17025.
Responsibilities
Order Entry
Orders and quotes to be generated for customers including product entry, discounts, freight and customer notes, shipping details, handling costs.
Fulfilling of orders
Manufacture & testing of certified reference materials and generation of all documentation associated with the product in accordance with ISO 33401.
Packaging and shipping products
Direct shipment model, account allocation, freight cost determination
Sales
Support all initiatives to improve Wexford ERA sales e.g. technical discussions, promotional materials, purchasing tracker. Active solicitation of customer feedback e.g. annual survey
Invoicing
Invoicing, inventory entry, allocating and fulfilling orders in Great Plains
Documentation
Following and maintaining up to date SOP’s in accordance with relevant standards
GDP- recording all data in manufacturing logbooks, calibration logbooks, lot. number notebooks. Recording and filing all required documentation e.g. End of day shipping documents, invoices, product verification worksheets and CofA.
Product testing / verification.
Testing of new manufactured lots. using TOC analysers e.g Sievers M9.
Ability to interpret results and calculate the uncertainty of measurement, verify the product and produce a CofA in accordance with ISO 17034 & 33401
Routine lab monitoring
Monitoring of all critical environmental controls and microbial analysis
Calibration and maintenance of TOC instrumentation: Anatel A643, PAT700 and Sievers M900/M9, recording stock levels. Laboratory Investigations
Qualifications
Education:
BSc. (Honours) in Science or relevant discipline.
Experience:
- Experience of working in an ISO 9001/ GMP environment.
- Analytical experience including use and calibration of balances, pipettes and GLP.
- Experience of using and maintaining analytical instrumentation/equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows based computer packages
- Previous experience operating a TOC analyser, analysing data and uncertainty of measurement calculations would be an advantage
