Monday - Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM
Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and life sciences location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, laboratory-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site requirements.
- Communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
