Job Details
Responsibilities:
Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to maintain accurate financial records.
Assists with the preparation of complex financial statements and management reports in accordance with organizational standards.
Ensures compliance with established internal controls and accounting policies.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data for standard reporting and analysis.
Identifies opportunities to streamline accounting processes and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency.
Supports audit processes independently by providing requested documentation and responding to inquiries.
Maintains confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial information at all times.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2+ years of experience in billing, complex transactions, general accounting, data management systems, or a related field required.
Certifications:
Certification as a Certified Bookkeeper (CB), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Working knowledge of credit and collection procedures.
Working knowledge of company distribution and customer service functional areas.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong typing and data entry skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with ERP systems such as Sage and SAP.
Strong business partnering skills.
Understanding of patient support programs is a plus.
Experience with complex accounting matters is preferred.
Salary Ranges:
2566 - 3556 EUR gross monthly
