The Opportunity
The Product Marketing Senior will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Risk, and Analytics teams to drive account growth among new-to-USAA members and existing members. This role will support shaping and implementing marketing strategies with a focus on performance metrics to deliver measurable results.
As a key contributor to Bank Marketing, you will be part of ideation, planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of marketing campaigns. With a focus on sustainable growth at efficient Cost per Account (CPAs), you will accelerate business results through a continuous test-and-learn agenda, improvement of marketing initiatives, and proficient allocation of marketing investments.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
- Supports the planning of the fully digital-first marketing lifecycle, inclusive of strategy, member research, planning, direct response marketing, agency management, creative development, compliant execution, analytics and optimization, and performance management.
- Provides input into the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns to build and deepen USAA's relationship with existing members, and drive acquisition of new members.
- Provides insights into management on the marketing budget allocations across products and channels to deliver sustainable growth at efficient Cost per Account (CPAs) at scale.
- Understands and provides input into the digital acquisition experience, support adoption of new ways of working, and leverage storytelling to drive understanding & adoption of change.
- Applies knowledge regarding external practices in the digital space.
- Basic understanding of product related regulations, and risk and compliance requirements.
- Keep USAA brand and mission to serve the military community at the forefront of new marketing practice.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- 4 years of relevant work experience in financial services with hands-on experience in conversion channels (i.e.: Paid Search, Affiliates, Direct Mail).
- Experience collaborating with key partners and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic goals.
- Business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends.
- Understands Product Marketing, including knowledge on growth objectives, marketing plans, performance reporting, and incremental growth consumer definition, situation assessment, financial analysis, and marketing strategy.
- Understanding of specific laws and rules that govern consumer products.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adjust communication style based on the audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and evaluate information.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $127,310 - $243,340.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
