Job Description

Mission:

•Provide deep dive analysis on China Intelligent EV industry trends and insights to global stakeholders for enhanced COEMs competitors intelligence understanding.
•Continuously monitor and analyze industry, market and product trends in China's auto industry, focusing on technology, competitors, products, and the broader ecosystem. Deliver in-depth insights to support global mid to long-term corporate and product planning.
•Keep tracking China competitors’ expansion strategy in global scope, especially in European market.
•Track COEMs core competitiveness in product planning & definition, DTC market strategy, and ecosystem development to feed top management team.
•Create special topic studies regarding direct competition or threats from COEMs to RG in global markets, specifically the EU. Focus areas include COEMs globalization, PHEV export surge, localization strategies and operations in key foreign markets.

Scope of action:
• Assist in crafting industry, market and product analysis report to leadership team.
• Deliver regular key COEMs core competitiveness analysis, covering organization, product planning, go-to-market strategy, and ecosystem development.
• Investigate special topics as requested by headquarters, such as EREV surge in China and implication to EU, and globalization 4.0 topic.
• Continuously track and report on COEMs' activities in the EU market, including new investments, model launches, partnerships, and technology localization.
• Summarize the key know how and methodology from COEMs in product definition, corporation strategy, competition benchmark to continuously present to global leadership team to understand new market dynamics, product competition and tech trend.
• Deliverables and indicators:
• Gather trends and propose topics for HQ’s scouting purpose to better understand China NEV ecosystem.
• Provide insights into COEMs dynamics and global expansion for the Leadership Team reports.
• Contribute data insights and strategic content for the bi-weekly analysis for leadership team.
• Deliver core competitiveness analysis and evaluation reports for key COEMs.
• Study on COEMs key models product planning, definition methodology, benchmark analysis and proposals for RG HQ’s product team.

Qualifications requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree or higher.
•Over 5 years in industry or market research, preferably within COEMs strategy department experience or consulting firm background.
•Experience in product planning and definition, with a focus on automotive or related sectors.
•Strong capability in data analysis, extraction, and the ability to present complex information clearly.
•Keen business sense and sensitivity to new business opportunities.
•Professional proficiency in English, PowerPoint, and Excel.
•Highly self-motivated, responsible, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
•Innovative and logical thinking with a deep understanding of the automotive market.
•Excellent communication, analytical, and synthesis skills.
•Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
