Job Summary:
Applies fully functioning finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality, durable, and visually appealing results. Executes standard and non-standard concrete finishing tasks such as screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and jointing independently. Collaborates with site leadership to sequence pours and maintains strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Applies finishing techniques to freshly placed concrete by smoothing, texturing, edging, and curing surfaces for slabs and structural elements.
Performs tasks including screeding, floating, troweling, edging, jointing, and texturing to achieve specified flatness, durability, and appearance.
Follows established safety and quality guidelines during all phases of concrete finishing work.
Inspects finished surfaces for defects, making necessary corrections to meet standards.
Assists in preparing work areas, setting forms, and cleaning up after finishing operations.
Works collaboratively with crew leads and foremen to sequence work and maintain schedule adherence.
Maintains tools, materials, and equipment in clean, safe, and operational condition.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
2–4 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
