About the role
We are looking for a Business Controller to join our Finance team and support 2 of the largest regions in EEM: Poland & Ukraine and Czech Republic & Slovakia.
This is an important role within our Finance reorganization, strengthening our Business Control capabilities across the regions. The position will provide high-quality financial and business controlling support while working in a more centralized regional setup.
Your responsibilities
Business partnering with a strong understanding of the business drivers, dependencies between key operational processes and performance metrics.
Acting as a Finance Business Partner to Service business line, providing actionable insight and guiding commercial decisions toward profitable growth.
Go beyond standard actuals understanding toward forward looking business development to influence business stakeholders in decision-making covering pricing and productivity initiatives incl. contract profitability reviews
Cooperate with local controlling, ensuring accuracy of controlling activities such as budgeting, on time and quality month end closing, actual results reporting (e.g. Balance Sheet and P&L etc) incl. variance analysis and forecast preparation
Continues process improvement, tasks harmonization and simplification combined with tasks automation including
Support strategic and long-term planning for service business.
Provide recommendations, training and coaching to the finance and business community on reporting and accounting matters
Initiate and drive assign projects toward set objectives and achieving key results
About you
3-5+ years of relevant experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, Finance or a similar role.
Master's degree in finance or accounting, CIMA/ACCA qualification underway will be an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of financial performance.
Self-motivated and result-driven personality with project management skills.
Ability to influence and drive improvement incl. effective communication is key.
Ability to operate in fast changing and matrix environments.
Sound business acumen, demonstrating the ability to combine the key commercial and financial drivers with understanding of core business opportunities & limitations
Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must. Knowledge of SAP and related SAP BPC/OneStrea, or Power BI tool will be an asset.
Fluent command of English (verbal and written) is a must
Ambitious and open for future development Business Partnering mindset and self-starter attitude
Key soft skill: problem solving, analytical thinking, drive & energy to act, continuous improvement & collaboration.
Fluent English; knowledge of Polish, Czech, Slovak or Ukrainian is a plus.
