Purpose of the role

The Global Key User (GKU) plays a critical role within the SAMOS programme, supporting the design and delivery of best-in-class processes across key workstreams.

The role acts as a subject matter expert within a functional area of M&E operations, ensuring alignment between operational needs and programme design. The GKU serves as a key link between workstreams, Super Key Users, and central design authorities, supporting effective coordination, issue resolution, and delivery of programme objectives

 

 

Your responsibilities

Process coordination & delivery 

  • Coordinate activities across relevant process areas within assigned workstreams. 

  • Support the definition and implementation of best-in-class processes aligned to programme objectives. 

  • Contribute to the delivery of programme milestones through active participation in workstream activities.  

 

Design & continuous improvement 

  • Define and refine process designs within their functional area, ensuring alignment with current and future operational needs. 

  • Provide insight into best-in-class practices based on industry knowledge and operational experience. 

  • Support continuous improvement through feedback, iteration and collaboration across OpCos 

 

Stakeholder management & collaboration 

  • Act as a key conduit between workstreams and central Design Authority. 

  • Raise issues, risks and Design Change Requests where required. 

  • Collaborate with Global Key Users, Super Key Users and wider stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective delivery.  

 

Communication & engagement 

  • Communicate regularly with Key Users across the same functional area regarding progress, priorities and requirements. 

  • Support coordination of workshop participation and stakeholder engagement activities. 

  • Contribute to programme-level updates and reporting as required 

 

Risk, issue & escalation support 

  • Support identification and management of risks and issues within workstreams. 

  • Assist in the escalation of complex or critical topics to Group Design Authorities where appropriate. 

  • Contribute to resolution of cross-functional challenges within the programme.  

 

 

Your skills, experience and qualifications

Experience

  • Experience within a functional area of M&E operations. 

  • Strong understanding of operational processes, including both current practices and best-in-class approaches. 

  • Cross-functional experience across multiple areas within a department. 

  • Experience in technical and/or regulatory domains relevant to the role. 

  • Prior involvement in system implementations or improvement programmes (e.g., AMOS or similar) is desirable. 

  • Experience as a Key User or member of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) is advantageous

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills. 

  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and locations. 

  • Strong collaboration skills with a focus on achieving shared outcomes across OpCos.
