37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £53,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Services Manager to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • Support the Clinical Services Manager in delivering high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy services across the hospital.
  • Assist with the coordination of daily service operations, including staff rotas, clinic allocation, and workload management.
  • Provide line management support, supervision, and mentorship to physiotherapy staff and assistants.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of clinical governance processes, audits, and risk management.
  • Assist with managing departmental administration, including stock control, equipment management, and record keeping.
  • Promote effective communication across the physiotherapy team and wider multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
  • Substantial post-registration experience, including experience in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, service coordination, and patient safety.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Minimum 5 years of working in MSK/Orthopaedic setting.
