About the Opportunity
The Operations Manager partners with the Executive Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the community. This role is responsible for supporting resident satisfaction, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about serving seniors while supporting and developing employees.
Essential Responsibilities
- Partner with the Executive Director to oversee daily community operations.
- Promote exceptional customer service and respond to resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, staffing, training, employee development, and retention.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained to support quality resident care and services.
- Lead and support department managers while fostering teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Monitor compliance with community policies, resident rights, HIPAA requirements, and applicable state regulations.
- Support community occupancy, resident satisfaction, and operational goals.
- Coordinate employee training and ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and employees.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, vendors, and community partners.

Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a service-related industry preferred.
- Experience with staffing, employee relations, recruitment, and operational management strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and employment practices preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support community operations.
- Must meet all state and community requirements for employment.
