Arabic Speaking 24/7 Content Moderation Specialist (Remote/Hybrid)

Are you fluent in Arabic, highly detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining online safety and digital security? We are seeking an Arabic Speaking Content Moderation Specialist to join our 24/7 trust and safety team. In this role, you will review, analyze, and monitor digital content, ensuring user safety while maintaining platform guidelines across various digital media streams.
Depending on current project allocation and your preference within Bulgaria, this role offers remote work within Bulgaria or a hybrid model combining work-from-home flexibility with modern office collaboration.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Native or near-native fluency (C1/C2) in Arabic, with strong professional command of written and spoken English (B2 or higher) for internal reporting and training.
  
• Legal Status: Must be an EU citizen or possess a valid, unrestricted work permit for Bulgaria.
  
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational shift pattern, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  
• Location & Setup: Based in Bulgaria with a quiet, dedicated home workspace and high-speed internet (for remote/hybrid days).
  
• Skills: Excellent critical thinking, emotional resilience, objective decision-making, and strong cultural awareness of Arabic-speaking regions.
  
• Experience: Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, media analysis, or digital customer care is an advantage, but entry-level candidates with high attention to detail are welcome!
  

Responsibilities

• Review user-generated text, image, audio, and video content in Arabic to ensure compliance with platform policies, copyright rules, and safety standards.
  
• Swiftly identify and flag inappropriate content, hate speech, misinformation, or policy violations.
  
• Make fast, accurate, and objective moderation decisions in high-volume situations.
  
• Escalate complex policy edge cases or urgent safety issues to team leads and legal compliance officers.
  
• Participate in continuous policy calibration sessions to keep up with evolving digital media trends and guidelines.
