The Test Sustainment Group is looking for a Senior Engineering Analyst to join the Engineering Technician team who will be documenting and developing Out of Flow test processes, procedures, and training packages. This role will support waste reduction through continuous improvement projects. Engineering Technicians or ETs support the test process through one or more phases of the product life cycle, including product development, transition to production, sustained production and depot activities. Performs troubleshooting and problem solving of test failures. Work in conjunction with other engineering functions to identify opportunities in test processes to improve efficiency, yields, and capacity.
What You Will Do
Drive the standardization of test sustainment processes and procedures through technical documentation and the analysis of Standard Work Sheets.
Provide training to other Engineering Technicians and/or Acceptance Technicians.
Eliminate waste through continuous improvement projects.
Document and/or develop troubleshoot flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
Evaluate schematics and test capabilities to make design and test recommendations for fault isolation.
Collaborate across multiple functions within operations and engineering teams.
Troubleshoot and provides accurate troubleshoot instructions for the Device Under Test or prime hardware.
Create and maintenance of spare lists and test equipment obsolescence plan.
Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings, utilizing fault trees and knowledge point plans.
Perform risk assessments and supports the programs risk register reviews.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
Experience testing or troubleshooting electronic assemblies at the component level and experience troubleshooting equipment including collaborative automation, mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience of test equipment and product testing and experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF equipment, etc.
U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Self-Starter, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non-technical disciplines, and contribute to the completion of projects; ability to obtain results and make recommendations
Experience with data analysis, and in Power and RF troubleshooting
Experience with Technical Writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop sustaining solutions to routine technical problems
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)
Prior CMES/SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
