Join us as a Repo & Risk Transformation Associate, NV Trading & Portfolio Management
- This is an opportunity to help manage Private Financing businesses and develop deep expertise in secured funding and risk transformation while collaborating across front office, structuring, legal, and operations
- You'll support the trading and management of risk within NatWest Markets N.V., and lead the pricing, execution and life-cycle risk management of new and existing transactions
- You'll gain valuable exposure as you work across Product, Sales and Portfolio teams, building your market knowledge and developing a broad understanding of structured financing activities
What you’ll do
In this role, you'll support the execution and management of structured rates transactions, helping make sure activities are accurately recorded and aligned to risk and control requirements. You'll contribute to transaction pricing assessments, evaluating risk and reward dynamics to support informed decision-making.
You’ll be:
- Managing the daily market, credit, and operational risk profile of the portfolio, overseeing transaction lifecycle events, and supporting trading activities
- Creating analysis and insights to support customers, our business and management
- Partnering with sales, structuring, and trading teams to deliver client-specific strategies, including yield enhancement, risk transfer, and structured funding products
- Taking ownership of trade execution processes which will involve pricing, booking, drafting and reviewing documents, liaising with structuring, legal and compliance teams
- Working closely with operations, middle office, settlements, and external counterparties to ensure timely trading, issuance, settlement, and booking, minimising operational risk and ensuring a seamless client experience

You'll be required to have relevant experience in financial institutions or in financial markets. Familiarity with the European regulatory framework applicable to secured funding would be an advantage, and there will be opportunities to develop this knowledge in the team.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Knowledge of structured products, asset classes or other relevant product areas
- An understanding of fixed income markets, secured funding markets, derivatives, repo and securitisation assets
- Knowledge of credit analysis, bank liquidity and capital metrics, asset and liability management, bank capital and RWA utilisation
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to present information, analysis and recommendations clearly and concisely
- Strong analytical skills, enabling you to interpret data, assess risk and support commercial decision-making
