This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

Core Responsibilities

• Define current-state and future-state architecture for Global Lab infrastructure. Develop scalable, secure, and repeatable reference architectures and technology patterns.
• Lead a small engineering team that establishes architectural principles for compute, storage, networking, and virtualization infrastructure. Ensure architectural decisions consider security, reliability, scalability, performance, cost, maintainability, and operational complexity.
• Serve as a senior technical authority for cybersecurity architecture within local risk environments. Influence technical decisions across organizational boundaries.
• Work cross-organizationally with IT and Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management (CDRM) and serve as a senior escalation point for highly complex infrastructure and cybersecurity problems.
• Support risk assessments and architectural exception processes.
• Lead cross-functional architecture initiatives without requiring direct management authority.
• Represent infrastructure architecture and cybersecurity considerations in strategic planning.
• Mentor senior engineers, architects, and technical specialists.
