Description
Head of Finance (Retail & Corporate Bank)
Responsibilities
- In Charge of overall Finance Department work
- Lead Budget and Forecast process and Capital planning
- Oversee the Asset Liability Management (ALM) function for the Bank
- Conduct regular Liquidity Stress testing and stress on IRRBB
- Organize Asset and Liability meeting and Coordinate the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) with senior management of the Bank in ensuring strategic and imperative goal of the bank is executed
- Report Financial performance to board members
- Closely monitor compliance with local capital adequacy and other local statutory requirement, and alert for the management for necessary actions
- Coordinate with external related parties like auditors to complete interim review and annual audit
- Review HKMA returns to ensure the accuracy
- Liaise with local regulator(s) for different requests and inquiries
- Review accounting treatment for new product
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Business; CFA / FRM is an advantage
- Minimum 10+ years banking finance experience; extensive hands‑on regulatory reporting exposure is mandatory, together with ALM, capital and liquidity management
- Solid knowledge of banking products and Hong Kong regulatory requirements
- Proactive mindset, strong leadership, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
