Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA), you will serve as a vital clinical partner, assuming personal accountability for our organization’s mission while delivering high-quality, comprehensive patient care. Whether you are performing rapid assessments, clinical procedures, or providing essential patient education, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team.

 

Every day you will manage a clinical schedule split between two convenient locations, offering you the autonomy to provide expert care while building your patient panel. Your work-life balance is prioritized through a flexible Monday – Friday schedule with customizable start and stop times and only minimal call requirements (approximately one week every eight weeks). In this role, you will be empowered to work independently, utilizing your clinical judgment to diagnose, treat, and restore the health and well-being of your patients in a supportive and resource-rich environment.

You must be a true team player who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting and possesses the drive to grow your own patient practice. 

• Performs clinical examinations as necessary for outpatients/inpatients.
• Writes orders and prescriptions.
• Identifies problem list based on approved protocols, current evidence-based standards of care, and scope of practice.
• Interprets and evaluates test results.
• Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Manages the discharge of patients with appropriate disposition, follow-up planning, adjunctive therapy management, and education.

We prioritize your financial growth and professional security by offering a guaranteed base salary of $157,982, supplemented by lucrative RVU incentive pay and a quality incentive bonus. To ensure a seamless transition, we provide a $7,019 sign-on bonus and $10,000 in relocation assistance, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care while enjoying a highly competitive compensation package.

Job Requirements

Required

 

Nurse Practitioner:

• Master’s degree in nursing as Nurse PractitionerRegistered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the Utah Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or subspecialty required.
• RN License required
• BLS from the American Heart Association required 
• ACLS from the American Heart Association required
• Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan

Physician Assistant:

• Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required
• PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Utah required
• BLS from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required
