Position Summary
The Construction Management Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects for Instrumentation & Controls and Network infrastructure systems. This role works closely with engineering, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with design and quality requirements, while supporting commissioning and successful facility turnover.Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Manage construction activities for assigned projects.
Review engineering drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.
Support Instrumentation & Controls and/or Network infrastructure installations.
Oversee cable routing, fiber/copper infrastructure, and system integration.
Support commissioning, testing, and project turnover.
Resolve field engineering and construction issues.
Track project schedule, quality, safety, and cost.
Identify process improvements and drive execution efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience supporting large commercial constructions projects (semiconductor, Datacenter experience is a plus).
experience coordinating engineering construction, contractors and cross functional stake holders.
working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, Submittals, field issue resolution.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced construction environment.
proficient with Microsoft office and project management tools and ability to create JIRA trackers.
Preferred qualifications:
experience with Instrumentation & Controls systems, Industrial networking or low voltage infrastructure.
experience supporting commissioning and startup, system turnover activities.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing facilities or industrial process systems.
familiarity with construction/project management and contract coordination.
experience using PM tools such as Jira, Bluebeam, ACC and similar platforms.
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop standardized workflow to improve project execution.
The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
