JOB PURPOSE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Leadership & Operational Performance
- Lead all manufacturing and warehousing operations for the Nyírbátor Sourcing Unit.
- Deliver annual targets across safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, innovation, sustainability and people.
- Ensure efficient and safe execution of production and warehousing activities to meet customer demand.
- Maintain high customer service levels while optimising operational performance and cost.
Strategic Execution
- Develop and execute the site's long-term strategic roadmap aligned with Home Care and Personal Care growth priorities.
- Lead the Site Masterplan, including capability expansion, automation, asset upgrades and organisational optimisation.
- Translate business priorities into clear site objectives and execution plans.
Financial & Resource Management
- Own the site's financial performance, including Sourcing Unit results, budgets and conversion costs.
- Drive cost competitiveness through productivity improvement and waste elimination initiatives.
- Optimise resources while maintaining safety, quality, service and people outcomes.
- Improve working capital management and overall operational efficiency.
Manufacturing Excellence
- Lead the implementation and continuous advancement of the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS).
- Drive loss eradication and continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.
- Build sustainable performance capability and a culture of operational excellence.
- Improve asset reliability, productivity and manufacturing performance.
Innovation, Technology & Transformation
- Enable successful implementation of innovation, renovation and complexity projects.
- Ensure effective delivery of launch and ramp-up plans.
- Leverage automation, digital and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational performance.
- Lead capital investment planning and execution aligned with safety, sustainability and productivity priorities.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and company requirements.
- Maintain robust quality management systems and audit readiness.
- Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in OSHE performance.
- Ensure effective governance and policy compliance across the site.
People & Culture
- Build leadership capability, succession pipelines and organisational resilience.
- Foster an inclusive, accountable and high-performing culture.
- Lead employee relations activities in partnership with HR.
- Drive engagement, wellbeing and talent development initiatives.
End-to-End Supply Chain Collaboration
- Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, HR and Technology teams.
- Support effective allocation of shared resources and capabilities across categories.
- Represent the site in relevant leadership and stakeholder forums.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Significant FMCG manufacturing leadership experience.
- Proven leadership of complex manufacturing operations and supply chain environments, ideally spanning multiple product categories or technology platforms.
- Strong financial and operational business acumen.
- Demonstrated success delivering safety, quality, service and cost performance.
- Deep experience in Manufacturing Excellence methodologies such as UMS, Lean or TPM.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple functions and business priorities.
- Experience operating in unionised environments.
- Fluent English and Hungarian communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred
- Multi-site or regional manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience in digital manufacturing, automation or Industry 4.0 environments.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation and capital investment programmes.
