Welcome to GFL (Green For Life), where we play with the big toys and keep a high-tech fleet operating at peak performance. We’re talking massive heavy equipment, high-pressure hydraulics, and serious diesel horsepower. As our Maintenance Supervisor, you aren't just managing a shop—you’re the captain of a crew of elite technicians keeping our community green, safe, and moving. If you’re a natural leader who loves technical challenges and high-energy shop environments, step up to the plate.

We offer competitive compensation alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your team:
💸 Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary structure with performance bonus potential.
🥾 Gear & Tool Allowances: Annual boot and tool allowances to keep you fully equipped.
📈 Career Progression: Clear pathways to shop leadership and regional fleet operations roles.
🛡️ Total Coverage: Premium health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family, plus 401(k) matching.
🏗️ Job Security: Essential services mean steady, bulletproof career stability year-round.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Core Role)
Command the Shop Floor: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled mechanics to keep productivity high and downtime low.
Master the Fleet: Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, complex diagnostics, and major repair workflows for heavy trucks and equipment.
Safety First, Always: Enforce top-tier safety standards, daily shop protocols, and OSHA compliance so everyone goes home safe every night.
Ops & Asset Optimization: Track parts inventory, manage work orders, and coordinate repair priorities directly with fleet management.
Build Great Culture: Cultivate a high-performing shop environment where team members learn, grow, and take pride in their work.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Leadership: 3+ years of experience supervising or leading a team in a heavy-duty diesel, fleet, or mechanical maintenance environment.
Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, and heavy equipment repairs.
Problem-Solver Mindset: Outstanding organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize urgent repairs on the fly.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively bridge the gap between shop mechanics, operations drivers, and management teams.
CDL Preferred: A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License is a huge plus (or the willingness to obtain one with our support).
