SUMMARY:
Performs a wide range of facilities services to support maintenance operations across our clinics and facilities. The role supports facility upkeep, preventive maintenance, painting projects, repairs, deliveries, furniture assembly, and fleet maintenance, and special projects under the direction of the Operations Manager.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Unrestricted valid driver’s license. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Starting pay of $15.50.
Employee's are eligible for a quarterly bonus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
· Ability to lift various objects routinely between 50-75 lbs.
· Ability to various hours including evenings and weekends.
· Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
· Ability to travel between FHS facilities as required.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
· Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
· Knowledge of one or more building trades.
· Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
· Records of maintenance skills.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Perform routine building repairs and maintenance
- Replace HVAC filters and lighting fixtures
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces/drywall repair
- Assist with furniture assembly and office moves
- Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, and facility repairs
- Monitor and schedule vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Perform snow removal and exterior upkeep as needed
- Respond to urgent maintenance needs as assigned
- Travel between Family Health Services locations as needed
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
