In this role, you will:
- The HR Generalist serves as a trusted business partner to manufacturing leaders, providing support across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, and workforce planning. This role helps build a high-performing, engaged workforce by coaching leaders, developing team capability, supporting organizational change, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and mutual respect.
- At the KC Beech Island Plant, we are transitioning from a traditional system to a High Performance Work System (HPWS) where employees are empowered to make decisions, solve problems, develop new skills, and directly influence business results.
HR Business Partnering
- Coach leaders on onboarding, performance management, employee relations, development planning, and career growth.
- Support implementation of people strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with leaders to develop action plans from engagement and culture survey results.
Talent & Workforce Planning
- Support recruitment activities, hiring events, onboarding programs, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps, succession opportunities, and development needs.
Learning, Performance & Organization Effectiveness
- Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Facilitate team effectiveness, leader assimilation, and change management efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement through coaching, collaboration, and problem solving.
Communication & Employee Experience
- Support site communications, recognition programs, engagement activities, and community initiatives.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, accountability, teamwork, and employee ownership.
Compensation & HR Programs
- Partner with leaders and Centers of Excellence on compensation, retention, and workforce solutions.
- Support implementation of HR programs and corporate initiatives at the site.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
- Experience in employee relations, leadership coaching, talent management, and organizational change.
- Strong ability to influence leaders and employees through coaching conversations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment and navigate ambiguity.
- Comfortable having difficult conversations and supporting employees through change.
- Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
- Availability to work fully onsite at Beech Island Mill, South Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, operations, warehouse, or plant environments.
- Experience with hourly workforce populations.
- Experience working in High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) or highly autonomous team-based organizations.
- Demonstrated growth potential and willingness to relocate in the future for career development opportunities.
- Experience leading change management initiatives.
