PH Commercial Pricing Policy Lead Mexico & N.LatamJob Description
PH Commercial Pricing Policy Lead, Mexico & North LATAM
Drive pricing governance, commercial profitability, and policy compliance across Mexico and North LATAM by transforming complex commercial data into strategic actions that improve revenue, margins, and business performance.
Your role:
- Analyze pricing performance, margin trends, customer profitability, and commercial data to identify opportunities that enhance revenue, profitability, and pricing effectiveness across the region.
- Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and regional stakeholders to provide pricing guidance, support customer negotiations, and ensure alignment with commercial policies. Act as a trusted advisor to regional and local teams, translating pricing strategy into clear actions and supporting stakeholder alignment across Mexico and North LATAM.
- Oversee trade spend, rebate governance, and pricing controls, ensuring transparency, compliance, and accurate reporting across customer, country, and regional levels. Track and reconcile trade spend balances, accruals, commitments, and spend, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting compliance with internal control standards. Support the closure of rebate agreements, maintain visibility of balances at customer, zone, and regional levels, and contribute to robust governance processes.
- Lead pricing and margin improvement initiatives, implement pricing tools, track key performance indicators, and develop insights through dashboards and data analysis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support the adoption of pricing tools and reporting enhancements, and link pricing actions to broader business KPIs such as profitability, market share, and customer value.
- Act as a trusted advisor and influencer across the organization, driving adherence to commercial frameworks and supporting strategic decision-making without direct people leadership. Provide coaching, guidance, and analytical support to Sales and Finance teams to strengthen pricing discipline, improve execution, and enhance understanding of pricing and margin implications.
You’re the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 4+ years of experience in Pricing, Commercial Finance, Strategic Management, Auditing, Accounting, Revenue Growth Management, or related commercial roles.
- Your skills include advanced Microsoft Excel, data analysis and interpretation, key performance indicator reporting, financial analysis, stakeholder management, and pricing strategy development. Experience with trade spend governance, rebate controls, pricing tools, and commercial reporting is a plus.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, Engineering, Strategy, or a related field.
- You are fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders in a virtual environment.
- You’re a highly analytical professional who can translate complex data into business insights, challenge stakeholders when necessary, and balance commercial objectives with policy compliance. You are also comfortable working in a complex market environment and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), retail pricing, consumer products, food and beverage, consulting, medical devices, or similar industries is preferred. Knowledge of SAP, SAP BW, Vistex, Lean Six Sigma, trade spend management, rebate controls, price waterfalls, or customer pricing models is a plus. Experience supporting accrual reconciliation, quarterly or annual close, or regional pricing governance is an advantage.
