Global R2R Fixed Assets Lead (f/m/x)

Mars is looking for an experienced Global R2R Fixed Assets Lead to join our Mars Global Services (MGS) Finance team. In this role, you will take full ownership of end-to-end Fixed Asset operations, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with global policies. You will work closely with business controllers, manage financial closing processes, and play a key role in continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives in a dynamic global environment. 

What will be your key responsibilities? 

• Ensure service delivery excellence for Fixed Asset transactions, monitoring operational performance, and driving key performance indicators (KPIs). 

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Fixed Asset transactions. 

• Organize and manage the period-end closing timetable (monthly, quarterly, year-end) to deliver accurate financial results on time. 

• Maintain an adequate internal control environment, identifying risks and recommending improvements to internal controls. 

• Review work prepared by team members, seeking opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve overall effectiveness. 

• Partner with stakeholders across business units, Controllership, Tax, FP&A, and MGS Finance Tower Leads to deliver timely financial insights. 

• Act as a trusted business partner to Operational Excellence (OE) Controllers, taking ownership of financial results and performance analysis. 

• Drive the standardization agenda by sharing best practices and supporting the implementation of global fixed asset processes. 

• Partner with the Global Process Owner (GPO) and the Global Operations Leader of Fixed Assets to execute strategic goals and drive efficiencies. 

• Challenge existing processes and systems, leveraging Functional Experts to implement system-related changes and global standards. 

What are we looking for? 

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting. 

• 1-2+ years of experience in a similar position in SSC/BPO. 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field. 

• Strong background in Record-to-Report (R2R) with a preferred focus on Fixed Assets. 

• Prior experience in stakeholder management, change management, and communication within a complex, global matrixed organization. 

• Experience working within a Shared Services model or driving finance transformation initiatives is highly desirable. 

• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including data analytics, financial reconciliation, and financial systems knowledge. 

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively influence and partner with cross-functional global teams (including cooperation with USA time-zone). 

• Key professional competencies including financial acumen, business insight, managing complexity, and optimizing work processes.
