How you'll make an impact in this role
- Coordinate and schedule patient procedures based on prescribed orders, optimizing patient time and clinical resources while ensuring accurate communication with patients, participants, and staff.
- Perform patient registration and clerical duties, accurately collecting and entering demographic, insurance, and clinical information into appropriate systems.
- Coordinate procedure schedules and assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization activities, resolving scheduling and procedural issues through appropriate resources.
- Provide patients, participants, and representatives with clear pre-service requirements, instructions, and support while serving as a resource to staff and facilitating effective communication.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
