Medical Education Lab Program Manager & Operations

 Job Summary

The Lab Program Manager, Operations is responsible for the performance and strategic development of Stryker Medical Education's cadaveric lab network across East Asia. This role oversees partner lab relationships, equipment logistics, and the delivery of high-quality surgeon training programs. The incumbent will lead end-to-end Medical Education events in Bangkok, ensure operational excellence across the region, and develop long-term lab facility strategies to support future growth and training capacity

What you need

• Manage and strengthen partnerships with cadaveric lab facilities across East Asia, including universities, hospitals, and private bioskills centers

• Oversee lab agreements, service levels, compliance requirements, and ongoing quality assessments to ensure a safe and exceptional learning experience

• Lead end-to-end logistics planning and execution for lab-based training events, including equipment, inventory, shipping, customs clearance, and site readiness

• Ensure seamless delivery of Medical Education programs by managing event operations, participant experience, vendor coordination, and on-site execution

• Own the planning and delivery of all Medical Education events in Bangkok, including venue, accommodation, transportation, hospitality, and budget management

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and consistency

• Build and execute the regional lab facility strategy, including capacity planning, investment recommendations, and partnership expansion opportunities

• ·Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic partner by providing market insights, leading cross-functional projects, managing budgets, and driving Medical Education excellence across the region

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Operations Management, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA is advantageous
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Medical Education, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Event Operations, Logistics, or a related field, with demonstrated success managing complex regional programs
• Proven expertise in vendor, partner, and stakeholder management, including contract negotiation, service-level management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong project and operations management capabilities, with the ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives, manage budgets, and deliver results within timelines and quality standards
• Experience managing large-scale educational events, training programs, or cadaveric lab operations, including onsite execution and participant experience management
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating market insights, business needs, and operational data into actionable recommendations and long-term plans
• Influential communicator with excellent presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, able to drive alignment and outcomes in a matrixed environment without direct authority
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring others, driving continuous improvement, fostering cross-divisional collaboration, and delivering business impact through effective planning and execution

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Medical Education
• Experience supporting cadaveric labs, surgeon training programs, or large-scale educational events preferred
• Prior people leadership or matrix leadership experience preferred
