Group Summary:

As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.

·          Perform unloading of trucks/containers and loading of trucks, which requires driving a sit-down forklift and lifting of packages.

·          Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against shipping documents, purchase orders, and packing slips.

·          Maintain FIFO inventory practices and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.

·          Prepare and load outgoing shipments. Inspect outgoing materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate personnel.

·          Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, material flow, inventory accuracy, and shipping/receiving processes.

·          Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other warehouse activities as required.

Requirements for Job Holders:

·          Previous shipping and receiving experience is preferred.

·          Proven good understanding of warehousing, inventory management, shipping and receiving procedures are preferred.

·          Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft package.

·          Must be Forklift-certified and able to undergo testing.

·          Must have demonstrated strong organizational skills.

·          Must be able to distinguish color.

Ability to work on a fixed schedule from 8am to 5pm (Mo-Fr).
