About the Role:
The Associate International Relationship Manager is an entry-level developmental role designed for recent college graduates seeking to build a career in international banking. Under the guidance of experienced International Relationship Managers and product specialists, this position develops foundational knowledge of foreign exchange, trade services, treasury management, and relationship management while supporting commercial clients engaged in international business activities. Through structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, the Associate prepares for future progression into an International Relationship Manager role.
- Support International Relationship Managers in servicing commercial clients engaged in international trade, cross-border banking, foreign exchange, and treasury management activities.
- Participate in formal training programs designed to develop knowledge of foreign exchange products, trade services, international payments, treasury solutions, risk management, and commercial banking practices.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, account reviews, pipeline reports, and other materials used to support business development and relationship management activities.
- Participate in client meetings, internal strategy discussions, and product presentations to gain exposure to consultative sales and relationship management practices.
- Research client industries, international trade trends, foreign exchange market developments, and economic conditions to support client solution recommendations.
- Partner with credit, treasury management, operations, compliance, and trade services teams to support client onboarding, service requests, and relationship management activities.
- Assist with portfolio monitoring activities, gathering information for annual reviews, client reporting, and relationship planning efforts.
- Support trade services activities by assisting with letters of credit, documentary collections, trade finance solutions, international payment services, and related client requests.
- Develop an understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering practices, sanctions compliance, and risk management principles impacting international banking activities.
- Complete assigned development projects, rotational assignments, training courses, and performance milestones to prepare for advancement into an International Relationship Manager position..
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, Accounting, or related field Required.
- 0-2 years Banking, financial services, internship, customer service, sales support, or related experience. Preferred
- Strong interest in international banking, foreign exchange, trade finance, treasury management, or commercial banking.
- Foundational understanding of business finance, accounting principles, and financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts, products, systems, and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
The pay range for this role is $22.00 - $32.00.
The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
