Description

Our Data Science and Learning division (DSL) is seeking a Postbaccalaureate Appointee to join their team as a temporary employee.

This particular position involves building long running agents that use the genesis mission platform as a testing ground for the ARIA API specification. Tests will represent problems in cancer treatment facing our collaborators at the University of Chicago. This position includes an opportunity for a Joint Appointment at the University of Chicago.

Position Requirements

  • Recently completed Bachelors degree in computational biology or related discipline
  • Ability to formulate solutions independently
  • Experience presenting own results at regular meetings
  • Willingness to present published articles at regular journal club meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and manuscripts
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices and techniques
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to model Argonne’s Core Values: Impact, Safety, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork

The expected hiring range for this position is $58,656.00-$92,273.00.
