CFL Data Scientist
Job Description
The CFL Data Scientist role is responsible for providing reporting and analytical insights across the Customers For Life (CFL) organization, comprising Customer Success, Services, Customer Support, and the Subscription Verification team. This role will drive decision-making and business improvement. The Data Scientist will work with stakeholders across the business, including IT, Finance, and the Revenue Operations team, to deliver self-service reporting tools and in-depth analytics that inform business performance, ultimately fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
Responsibilities:
Owns the core data processes related to business performance, including the design, development, and implementation of reporting solutions, analytical models, and management dashboards.
Main point of contact for data and analytical queries within the Customers for Life Organisation.
Collaborates with and supports various CFL teams to establish trusted working relationships and ensure alignment on data-driven insights.
Mines, analyzes, and visualizes relevant data using tools such as Salesforce Analytics and MS PowerBI to identify key trends and inform strategic decision-making.
Develops and delivers training and mentorship to Customers For Life team members, promoting data literacy and the effective utilization of data.
Drives continuous improvement in analytics-related processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or equivalent
Typically 5+ years experience, ideally in a similar analytical role within the software industry.
Knowledge, Skills and other Requirements:
Experience with Salesforce Analytics/TableauCRM and/or MS PowerBI.
Exceptional communication skills (e.g., written, verbal, presentation). Fluency in English required.
Willingness to work in a shift pattern that includes supporting North American time zones. The role will involve alternating shift schedules to provide support across multiple time zones.
Prepare executive-ready presentations and updates, including concise and clear visual artifacts to support management
Experience of evaluating forms of forecasting and planning methodologies to develop guidance for deploying sales and operational resources and activities.
Excellent analytical, statistics and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think creatively.
Developing understanding of internal business processes and policies.
Ability to work as a proactive member of a team, as well as independently.
Thorough understanding of and experience in applying business and sales operations practices and process design to a variety of situations.
