The pay rate is from $21.00 to $25.20 per hour and will commensurate with experience. Training will be provided. This is a full-time, in-office, position. Working hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. with an occasional start time of 7:00 am.

Description
Processes a variety of routine financial transactions in person, over the phone, and through electronic delivery channels. Responsible for managing and balancing a cash drawer and preparing daily paperwork according to policy and procedures. Provide information to members on new and on-going marketing promotions to help meet Credit Union goals and excel in service. Emphasis will be on providing service and sales delivery at the highest level to ensure excellence in member service and to help meet Credit Union goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments to members accounts by way of cash or checks.
- Assist members with account questions, provide resolution.
- Provide specific account information (balances, transfers, wires, check clearings, deposit and/or withdrawal postings, etc.). Provide information to on new accounts (CDs, money markets, other savings).
- Assist members with new cards and reporting fraud.
- Assist members with online banking such as password resets, Zelle, mobile deposits, transfer of funds, bill pay, new/changing PIN numbers.
- Provide information to members on Credit Union loan products, including quoting current interest rates and loan payoff amounts.
- Ensures all opening and closing procedures are followed each day.
- Balances cash drawer, checks, vault and ATM.
- Record keeping must be accurate and well documented for internal/external audit purposes.
- Ascertains monthly cross sell goals and training requirements including ongoing training to ensure BSA/AML regulations and Credit Union policies are followed. Completing required reports for CTRs and SARs.
- Perform other related duties, including special projects as requested.

Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communications and above average listening skills.
- Possess the ability to type accurately and operate a computer terminal.
- General knowledge of banking operations and procedures is preferred.
- Pro-active in solving problems and taking initiative to go a step above in all situations.
- Good organizational skills to handle a large volume of information for varying calls.
- Ability to adapt independently with a moderate level of supervision.
- Ability to sit for hours at a time, while working on a computer and talking on the phone.
- Cross-selling skills.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Minimum one year cash handling and customer service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required:
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
- Work involves extensive contact with others inside and outside of the Credit Union and is usually personal or sensitive in nature.
- Outside contact is important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies, governmental agencies, and/or individuals) is necessary.
