VP Brand Strategy & Creative Solutions
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Brand & Marketing Strategy
- Define and lead enterprise brand and marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Lead teams responsible for developing differentiated value props, positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market strategies across products, solutions, and customer segments.
- Drive customer segmentation, audience targeting, and journey mapping to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Establish strategic marketing priorities and integrated marketing plans that strengthen brand equity, accelerate growth, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
2. Creative, Brand & Design Excellence
- Lead creative services, including design, copywriting, and packaging ensuring a cohesive and compelling differentiated brand presence across all channels and customer touchpoints.
- Establish creative standards and governance that reinforce brand consistency and drive business results.
- Champion innovative storytelling, content development, and visual communication strategies that enhance audience engagement and strengthen market positioning.
3. Marketing Operations, Content Strategy & Capability Development
- Lead marketing operations strategy, including resource planning, workflows, technologies (e.g. Workfront and Aprimo) to maximize efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
- Develop content strategy and drive full execution including alignment, governance, creation, distribution, and measurement to drive impact and accelerate speed to market.
- Oversee marketing project management and account services functions, ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives, campaigns, and business priorities.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency that improve productivity and maximize marketing effectiveness.
4. Performance & AI Enablement
- Establish KPIs that align marketing investments with business objectives and apply data-driven approaches to optimize marketing programs, resource allocation, and organizational performance.
- Ensure AI is a part of everything we do to drive efficiency and scale.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, testing, innovation, and continuous learning to enhance marketing effectiveness and ROI
- Establish governance and standards that ensure responsible, scalable, and effective use of AI across the marketing organization. Partner with Digital, Data & Analytics, and IT to integrate AI capabilities into marketing workflows and systems.
5. Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen brand value, accelerate growth, improve customer experience, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships across the organization (Marketing, Sales, Product Divisions, HR, Finance, IT, and Operations) to drive alignment, accountability, and successful execution of strategic priorities.
- Cultivate a performance-oriented culture grounded in learning, experimentation, adaptability, and results.
- Successfully navigate ambiguity, lead change, and drive alignment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Develop and retain high-performing leaders and teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic direction for annual planning, budgeting, organizational design, and resource allocation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in brand strategy, marketing, creative services, marketing ops, and content strategy, including 5+ years leading large, multi-functional teams.
- Proven ability to drive Marketing strategies through to successful execution, resulting in positive business outcomes and profitability
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market opportunities and customer insights into strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and measurable results.
- Deep expertise in brand strategy, customer insights, creative development, content operations, marketing technologies, and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of enterprise content strategy, digital asset management, content lifecycle management, and scalable content production models.
- Experience leading marketing transformation initiatives involving AI, automation, content operations, marketing technology, and change management.
- Demonstrated success implementing AI-enabled marketing capabilities and driving adoption of emerging technologies to improve business outcomes.
- Proven success developing and scaling marketing capabilities, processes, technologies, and teams that drive measurable business growth and operational excellence.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing significant budgets, competing priorities, and enterprise-wide initiatives in complex organizations.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$269,000.00 - $404,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
