The 245D Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator supports recruitment and onboarding for unlicensed Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions across AAC locations. This position manages the candidate pipeline from job posting through interview, approved offer, and onboarding handoff while maintaining accurate applicant records and consistent communication with candidates and Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Create, update, and post DSP job openings for assigned AAC locations.
· Review applications and identify candidates who meet position requirements.
· Contact candidates, schedule interviews, and conduct initial interviews.
· Communicate approved employment offers and send selected candidates into the onboarding process.
· Coordinate with HR to monitor each candidate's onboarding progress and outstanding requirements.
· Call, email, and follow up with candidates regarding application status, required documents, orientation, and next steps.
· Receive and organize recruitment requests submitted by AAC departments and locations.
· Manage the applicant tracking system and maintain accurate candidate statuses, notes, and recruitment data.
· Assist with 245D new-hire onboarding tasks and related HR paperwork as assigned.
· Answer phone calls and emails from applicants and new hires currently in the recruitment or onboarding pipeline.
· Protect confidential applicant and employee information.
· Provide recruitment activity updates and complete other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or HR coursework preferred.
· At least one year of customer service, administrative, scheduling, recruiting, staffing, or healthcare experience preferred.
· Strong phone, email, interviewing, organization, and follow-up skills.
· Ability to manage multiple candidates, deadlines, and open positions at the same time.
· Comfort using applicant tracking systems, Paylocity, Microsoft Office, email, and shared trackers; training may be provided.
· Professional judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
