Role Highlights: Career-defining opportunity to join a growing property business. Broaden your exposure across technical accounting, governance, tax, systems and senior stakeholder partnering with a clear pathway towards Finance Manager.
Role Overview
This Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in strengthening the financial control environment while supporting a broader uplift of the finance function. - Support statutory reporting, annual financial statements and year-end processes
- Prepare technical accounting papers and position papers across complex accounting matters
- Provide technical accounting guidance and practical recommendations to Finance leadership and business stakeholders
- Support external audit requirements and strengthen overall audit readiness
- Partner with external advisers across tax governance, BAS, FBT and broader compliance matters

- Partner with senior finance and non-finance stakeholders to explain the financial implications of business decisions
Candidate Profile
You are a CA/CPA qualified Senior Financial Accountant with a strong technical accounting foundation and the confidence to operate beyond traditional month-end responsibilities. With experience gained within a complex commercial environment, professional services firm or a combination of both, you are comfortable working through accounting issues, researching the appropriate treatment and presenting clear, practical recommendations.
You are a confident communicator who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders and can simplify complex financial matters for non-finance audiences. You bring energy, curiosity and a proactive mindset, naturally asking questions and looking for opportunities to improve processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo. Exposure to statutory reporting, audit, tax, BAS, FBT and accounting standards is important, while experience across JDE, property, lease accounting or project accounting will be highly regarded.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business during an exciting period of leadership and finance transformation. You'll work alongside an evolving executive team who are focused on building a more future-focused, proactive finance function and creating genuine development opportunities for strong performers.
