Presales Solutions Architect (Azure)

What you'll be doing:

As our Presales Solutions Architect (Azure) you'll help shape, design, and articulate cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and the wider Microsoft ecosystem. This is a key customer-facing role that combines deep technical expertise with commercial awareness, making it ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, designing innovative solutions, and supporting strategic business growth.

Working closely with sales, delivery teams, customers, and Microsoft, you'll play a critical role in identifying business requirements, developing compelling solution designs, and supporting successful outcomes throughout the sales lifecycle.

 

In addition you will:

• Perform presales activities in support of the Presales, Consulting, and Sales teams, including attending customer meetings, contributing to proposals, statements of work, RFP responses, business cases, and cost models.
• Design and present Azure-based solutions that align with customer business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with key strategic technology partners, primarily Microsoft, to ensure solutions leverage best practices and current technologies.
• Produce high-quality solution documentation, implementation approaches, and migration plans, clearly demonstrating how customer outcomes will be achieved.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and customer meetings in a professional and engaging manner to define and develop solution requirements.
• Provide technical ownership of solution designs throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth transition to project delivery, managed services, or operational teams.
• Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, consultants, and technical specialists to ensure successful solution outcomes.
• Maintain trusted customer relationships throughout the solution lifecycle, acting as a key technical advisor and point of contact.

We want to hear from you if you:

• Have excellent technical and commercial understanding in creation of technology solutions and outcomes for customers.
• Are an experienced Presales Solutions Architect or an Azure Solutions Architect interested in developing a career in presales.
• Can demonstrate proven experience in architecting and being involved with implementing a broad range of technology solutions related to Azure Cloud.
• Have experience in owning and contributing to proposals, statements of work, RFP responses, business cases, cost models and leading the review process.
• Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, enabling the presentation of complex technical solutions.
• Have experience in a customer facing consultancy focused organisation
• Can demonstrate experience working with both architectural principles and project delivery methodologies including fundamentals of project management.
