We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team on 2nd and 3rd shift. This role is essential to the consistent production of our high-quality confectionery products. You’ll operate machinery, monitor quality, and ensure smooth production processes while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment (mixers, depositors, packaging machines, etc.)
- Perform changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain product integrity
- Monitor product quality throughout production, troubleshoot issues, and make all adjustments as needed
- Complete minor operator-level maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Perform scheduled operator-level preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
- Follow standardized recipes and production procedures to ensure consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Record production data and report any issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Sound mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
